How to Quit iOS 7 Apps and Switch Among Open Applications

Back in older days of the earlier iPhones and firmware for these Apple handsets users had to click twice their Home button to switch between applications, copy things from one browser to the Mail program and do other things with the smartphone. Apple CarPlay Console Coming Out in Europe and U.S.

The new CarPlay feature from Apple will be supported by the standalone console for different vehicles. Apple Carplay in BMW, Ford and other models is to be presented in the fall 2014, according to Nikkey reports [this is the newspaper from Japan]. The product should become available in the U.S. and Europe later this year priced at $500 and up to $700.

The iOS 7.1 CarPlay option was first introduced this spring. The iPhone maker showed its new development at the Geneva International Motor Show and later it was officially released in the major firmware upgrade for iPads and iPhones. The new feature allows users using their smartphone in the car when the gadget takes over the in-dash screen of your vehicle. You get the opportunity to control navigation, received phone calls and text messages and listen to music through Siri assistant who understands your voice commands.

For now the option supports only three models of the iOS device, including the iPhone 5S, 5c and 5. Apple CarPlay in Ford, BMW, Honda, Mercedes-Benz and a number of others cars is still not available for many older models.

Different manufacturers might like to implement such an option into their vehicles but there is no information on when such an opportunity becomes real. For example, Keywood is not going to adopt the system soon. It only looks at the possibility of such integration.

European and U.S. markets are to get Apple CarPlay aftermarket console. As for other countries, they might also receive such an offer later, after the new products hits the two markets and gains its popularity.

iOS 7.1 Tweak with Calendar: List Daily Events with Ease

It doesn't matter that there is no iOS 7.1 jailbreak release a lot of Apple customers updated to this firmware with its new features and extra options not present in iOS 7.0.6 and earlier releases. For example, this file upgrade has fixed the problem with iPhone / iPad Calendar application.

The app has a little tweak that simplifies month view option. If you remember previous look of Calendar on iOS 7.1 devices, it had a dot on days that had something scheduled in the month view. In order to see each event users were forced to click on each day which showed a new screen with events list. You had to click and tap spending much time and getting frustrated with the program.

iOS 7.1 update tweaked the application making it possible to view your daily plans with as little clicks and extra windows as possible

Once you open Calendar after upgrade you can see a new option at the display’s top. Click on it and you will enable your list view feature with your scheduled events for the day. The 1/3 of your display will be turned into your days’ agenda. Select days staying in the list view and check on your schedules without problems.

We hope this iOS 7.1 feature and new tweak can make iPhone 5 / 5S / 5c / 4S life easier.
